Greenbrier Valley Theatre (GVT), the State Professional Theatre of West Virginia, is pleased to announce the newest addition to its literary series. In conjunction with their upcoming production of The Member of the Wedding, GVT will host a book club featuring selected works of playwright Carson McCullers. Registration is free and now open. Beginning Oct. 3 and continuing through the literary series, the book club will be held on Mondays at 6:30 p.m. at GVT. For one hour each Monday, book club members will meet to discuss four of McCullers’ most famous novels:
• The Member of the Wedding
• The Heart Is a Lonely Hunter
• Reflections in a Golden Eye
• The Ballad of the Sad Café
The first 20 people to register will have all four books provided by Greenbrier Valley Theatre at no cost.
