Celebrate bluegrass and hillbilly music in West Virginia during the annual Pickin’ in Parsons Bluegrass Festival on Aug. 2-6.
Pickin’ in Parsons Bluegrass takes places each year at the Five River Campground in Parsons. With a beautiful camping facility and a no alcohol policy, the event is a wonderful, family-friendly environment to listen to some of the country’s best bluegrass and to jam, visit vendors, fish, swim, or just relax.
Nineteen different groups will take to the stage this year to entertain crowds with some of the finest traditional bluegrass and hillbilly music in the south.
“Now in its 13th year, the event draws a strong crowd following from all across the region,” said Jessica Scowcroft, Tucker County Convention & Visitors Bureau Director. “We have people driving in from Kentucky, Ohio, Virginia, and North Carolina to enjoy these nationally recognized musicians and some good old fashioned pickin’ and grin’.”
