Due to the overwhelming response to the announcement that all Grounds Badges to the 2016 Greenbrier Classic would be complimentary, Greenbrier Classic officials announced Monday that the final day to register for free badges will be 11:59 p.m., on Saturday, June 25. All fans interested in attending the PGA TOUR FedExCup event free of charge must visit GreenbrierClassic.com/Tickets and complete their registration prior to that deadline.
“The response that we’ve had has been unbelievable,” said Jim Justice, Owner and CEO, The Greenbrier. “We’re thrilled that we’re going to have so many people here to experience what is going to be the best Greenbrier Classic yet. We want to have everybody here, but we have to cut it off at some point.”
Since the unprecedented announcement of free badges for the PGA TOUR FedExCup tournament July 4-10 on the Old White TPC Course was made last month, more than 30,000 fans have gone online to register. Those numbers are in addition to sponsors and others who have upgraded their Greenbrier Classic experience with Springhouse Badges and Snead Champions Club Badges.
After the deadline, Springhouse Badges, which are valid for all seven days and include access to an air conditioned facility, complimentary snacks and non-alcoholic beverages and a complimentary lunch buffet Thursday through Sunday will still be available for $199 while supplies last. Snead Champions Club Badges, which include luxury seating, complimentary meals from The Greenbrier Dining Collection, complimentary beverages and much more will also be available for $5,000. Both badges can be purchased online at GreenbrierClassic.com/Tickets.
Patrons will not need to go to Will Call to receive their complimentary badges. All Grounds Badges will be distributed as patrons board the complimentary shuttle buses. Buses will depart from the State Fair of West Virginia (general parking), The Greenbrier Sports Performance Center (ADA parking) and Villa Park (White Sulphur Springs residents only). Proper credentials will be required for the Sports Performance Center and Villa Park.
