Shepherd’s Center of Greenbrier Valley has had another great fiscal year, thanks to everyone who has participated in their programs this past year. The center’s Adventures in Learning sessions had over 100 registrants this spring, the Community Service Award luncheon was a huge success this year, and they are already in the planning stages for next year.
As they wind down this fiscal year, the center wants to let the community know that they still have Neighborhood Investment Program (NIP) credits available. If you would like to take advantage of these tax credits for next year’s taxes, let them know, and your donations to Shepherd’s Center would be greatly appreciated. The minimum eligible donation is $500 and the NIP credit is 50 percent of the eligible donation. These donations must be received by June 30, 2016 – the end of the fiscal year.
