A consumer representative from the attorney general’s office will hold public events during June throughout central and southeastern West Virginia. The office representative will educate consumers on the latest scams in their area, provide tips on how to guard their personal information and answer questions about consumer protection settlements.
Justin Arvon, a consumer outreach and compliance specialist with the office, will host the events, which are scheduled below:
• June 16: 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. Mobile Office Hours at Greenbrier County Public Library, 152 Robert W. McCormick Drive, Lewisburg
• June 23: 10:45 a.m. – Noon Mobile Office Hours at Union Senior Center, 104 Health Center Drive, Union
• June 23: 12:30 – 2 p.m. Mobile Office Hours at Monroe County Public Library, 103 South Street, Union
