Local Christian artist Eva McVey will present a concert of sacred music this Sunday morning, May 22, at 10 a.m., at Greenbrier Valley Church of the Nazarene in Fairlea.
McVey has been singing gospel music in a wide variety of venues since the age of five, often working in early years with her brother, Cody McVey, a well-known Christian keyboard artist. The Alderson native has released a CD of her music, Alive, containing five of her most popular songs, including “Alive,” “All in Favor,” and “‘How Great’ Medley.”
She is daughter of H.R. and Detra McVey of Alderson and is planning to move to Nashville in the near future to further her singing and recording ministry.
An offering will be received during the concert to help Eva with the expenses of her ministry.
Greenbrier Valley Church of the Nazarene (gvnazarene.org) is located at Davis Stuart Road and Dawkins Drive, approximately one-half mile south of Greenbrier Valley Medical Center in Fairlea. The Rev. Glen Thaxton is pastor.
