The home, built circa 1870, had been made into several apartments.

Greenbrier East practical nursing students attended the Health Occupations Students of America (HOSA) State Leadership Conference at Marshall University on Mar. 11 and 12.
Sabrina Bryant, Jennifer Dorsey and Cyndi Mellard placed first in HOSA Bowl; Stacy Langham placed first in pathophysiology; Kayla Wiser placed first in researched persuasive speaking; Alisha Brookman and Heather Hicks placed second in forensic medicine; and April Shanklin, Michelle Sams, Emily Dimon and Chynna Southall placed third in cultural awareness.

GEHS athlete Claire Gibson received a scholarship to West Liberty University for soccer. She was joined by her parents and coaches when she signed a Letter of Intent to play for the university.
