Lewisburg-Joyce-Ann Louise Moore Ferguson passed away Sunday, Feb. 21, 2016, at Peyton Hospice House in Lewisburg.
She was born Aug. 8, 1936, in Chicago, IL, a daughter of the late Floyd H. and Gertrude F. Scholer Moore.
Joyce-Ann was of the Methodist faith, was an avid reader, was a former 4-H Leader and loved all animals. Her first job was in a bank as a bookkeeper. Her greatest joy was being a mother and dearly loving her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, David E. Ferguson.
She is survived by: her loving companion, Massey Napier; her children, Holly-Ann (Urban) Osborne, Stacey-Ann (William) Burns both of West Virginia, Patricia-Ann (Dale) Wilkinson and Andy (Robin) Schomp all of Florida; beloved grandchildren, Cheryl-Ann Burns Waldron, Brett Lee (Heather) Osborne and Joshua Corey Burns all of West Virginia and Grant (Danieal) Wilkinson of Florida; loving great-grandchildren, Levi Waldron, Colten Waldron and Raelynn Osborne, Benson McKinley Gobel IV and Calix Avery Burns, all of West Virginia, Luke Eugene Wilkinson of Florida, Benjamin Evans Qsborne and Lillie-Ann Catherine Gobel, both of West Virginia. She is also survived by a special friend, Wayne Napier.
She has donated her body to the WV School of Osteopathic Medicine for medical research.
A memorial service will be held at a later date and her ashes will be scattered in Florida as per her request.
