Dear Editor:
I still go back to the Greenbrier East High School to help out the girls basketball team, because being a part of that team is like being part of a family thanks to Coach Jim Justice. Coach Justice always treated every player the same. It didn’t matter if you were on JV or the star of the team.
As busy as he is, Coach Justice still finds time to stay in touch with his players after they graduate. He and his wife have been there for me during some difficult times. I know if I need something, Coach will be there for me.
He has been a real role model for me and so many others who have played for him. I can’t thank Jim Justice enough for his support and encouragement. He continues to teach me many important life lessons. I am grateful for all that he does to help our community and our state, and I am proof that he is having an impact.
I hope he will be our next governor, but he will always be Coach Justice to me and my good friend.
