The Hub, located in Montwell Park, has introduced a snow day program which hosts school children on snow days.
Open at 9:30 a.m., the Hub gives kids a place to play games and work on educational activities in a warm, safe environment while their parents are at work.
On Wednesday, kids spent the morning building birdfeeders and then hung them outside. By afternoon, they were entertaining themselves by playing ping pong, pool and card games.
The Hub will offer the service for a total of 15 snow days this school year. Thursday was day six of the program.
