Youth group Pizza Fundraiser

Rhiannon Cohernour, Desi Wise and Cooper Woods, three of the youth from Edgewood Presbyterian Church in Lewisburg, plan to join approximately 5,000 other young people and adult leaders at Perdue University for the 2016 Presbyterian Youth Triennium. The retreat occurs every three years and provides youth an opportunity for daily worship, small groups, prayer, recreation and many other activities.
The delegation of young people from West Virginia will be traveling by chartered bus on July 19 to West Lafayette, IN, and will be returning July 23. Each youth is responsible for the cost of the retreat, in addition to money needed for food while traveling, so fundraising efforts are scheduled to help make this trip possible.
Join the youth at April’s Pizzeria in White Sulphur Springs on Thursday, Feb. 4, from 5-8 p.m. The youth will be waiting tables and serving meals. In addition to tips earned, the youth group will also be selling baked goods the same evening at April’s. Plan to support Edgewood’s youth by enjoying a meal at April’s while helping them on their spiritual journey.
