An Award of Appreciation was presented to Tammy Jordan, owner and president of Fruits of Labor Cafe and Bakery, and Roy W. Lynch, III, executive chef and culinary instructor at Fruits of Labor for their dedication, devotion and commitment to the Rainelle community by the Rainelle Police Chief JP Stevens and Mayor Andy Pendleton, representing the Town of Rainelle on Dec. 23. Fruits of Labor’s Seeds of Recovery Culinary program was created to help those in the Greenbrier County Drug Court overcome addiction and substance abuse by training participants in nutrition, agriculture and the culinary arts. “You have committed yourself to helping those in need,” Pendleton said during the presentation. “The program has proven to be a great success.” Pictured: Rainelle Police Chief JP Stevens; Tammy Jordan, president at Fruits of Labor; Rainelle Mayor Andy Pendleton and Roy W.
