Griffith Creek Baptist Church

Pastor Audie Sorg and the congregation invites everyone to their Annual Christmas Play Saturday, Dec. 19 at 7 p.m.

Band of Hope Baptist Church

will hold their Annual Christmas Program Saturday, Dec. 19 at 6 p.m. Pastor Reggie Berry and the congregation invites everyone to join them. The church is located near Renick.

West Point Baptist Church

will present a Christmas cantata titled “Colors of Christmas” Sunday, Dec. 20, at 7 p.m. The church is located four miles south of I-64 (Exit 161 at Alta) on Route 12 in Asbury. Rev. Ron Miller and the congregation invite everyone to attend.

New River Unitarian Universalist Fellowship

service Sunday, Dec. 20 will begin at 11 a.m. Visitors are welcome. The Fellowship is located at 911 South Kanawha Street, Beckley.

Emmanuel Open Bible Church

invites the public to visit the Live Nativity Drive Thru. The drive thru will take visitors from the angel telling Mary that she will bring forth the Messiah to the birth of Jesus in the manger. There are 10 live scenes telling the story of the birth of Jesus with live characters and animals. Visitors do not have to leave the warmth of their vehicles: however, visitors can park their vehicles and walk through if they wish. The event will take place Dec. 18, 19 and 20, Friday, Saturday and Sunday, from 6-8 p.m. Families, youth groups, and individuals are welcome. The church is located in Maxwelton, 1.6 miles on Vago Road off Route 219. The event is free to the public. For more information, call 304-497-2308.

Graystone Baptist Church

Choir will preform their Christmas Cantata Sunday evening, Dec. 20, at 6:30 p.m. Pastor Youel Altizer and the Choir invite you to come as they celebrate Jesus’ birth and the sacrifice HE made for man with the music of “MARY, DID YOU KNOW.” A nursery will be provided. Graystone Baptist Church is located at 249 Skylar Drive, Lewisburg. If you have any questions you may call 304-645-4220.

Shuck Memorial Baptist Church

invites families to ‘Twas the Light Before Christmas – A fun “instant” Christmas play hosted at the church Tuesday, Dec. 22. The three-hour, rehearsal-to-cast-party adventure provides a Christmas celebration for families as they rehearse a simple song, create a keepsake prop and experience that Jesus is the true light of the world. Guests will enjoy fun crafts, delightful music and a hilarious, engaging play – all while celebrating Jesus’ birth in a new and refreshing way. Families experience this wacky adventure together, discovering that Jesus is the light of the world. ‘Twas the Light Before Christmas takes place at 4 p.m. with the play being presented at 7 p.m. on Dec. 22. Woodland Community Church

will present their Annual Christmas Program Christmas Eve, Thursday, Dec. 24 at 6 p.m. Join Pastor Mark Gillenwater and the congregation for “A Not So Silent Night.” The church is located in Auto.

Christ Our Savior Lutheran Church

will celebrate Christ’s birth on Christmas Eve at 6 p.m. and Christmas Day at 10 a.m. Holy Communion will be celebrated at both services. Christmas Eve worship will be followed by a dessert social time. The church is located 103 Railroad Street in historic downtown Alderson.
