Brady Powers Mickey, 16, of Lewisburg passed away Monday, December 14, 2015 at home following a courageous battle with cancer.
Brady was born July 31, 1999 at Ronceverte to Robert Anthony and Peri Ann Hanna Mickey.
Brady was a sophomore at Greenbrier East High School and was a member of the Frankford Presbyterian Church.
He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, William and Elaine Mickey, maternal grandfather Douglas Powers Hanna and cousin Faith Hanna.
Survivors include his parents, Robert and Peri Ann Mickey; brothers, Patrick, Ryan and Keegan Mickey; maternal grandmother Marianna Hayes Hanna of Frankford; aunt, Michele Hanna of Frankford, Sherry Horne, Ontario, Canada; uncles, Mike (Shane) Hanna of Ronceverte, Cary (Cheryl) Hanna of Frankfort, KY and John Mickey of St. Marys, Ohio; cousins, Josie, Mikayla, Jake and Brooke Hanna, as well as a large extended family and a host of friends.
The family will receive friends from 12:00 noon until 2:00 pm on Saturday, December 19, 2015 at the Wallace & Wallace Funeral Home in Lewisburg.
A graveside service will follow the visitation at 2:30 PM on Saturday, December 19, 2015 at the Rosewood Cemetery in Lewisburg with Rev. Dr. Susan Sharp Campbell and Father Chapin Engler officiating.
