Community and business partners enhance school programs and services throughout Greenbrier County by providing invaluable resources, support, and expertise to our schools. At the Dec. 8 meeting of the Greenbrier County Board of Education, Lewisburg Elementary School and the Greenbrier County Public Library formalized their school-business partnership through the WV Education Alliance Partners in Education Program.
The Greenbrier County Public Library partners with Lewisburg Elementary staff and students to provide library cards to all LES students; host student visits to the library for story time and related craft activities; provide Accelerated Reading books and quizzes at the library; and assist with other literary projects at the school.
