Trillium Performing Arts Collective invites you to get your tickets now for their upcoming production of dance and theatre, entitled “Transitional Phrases.” Featuring eight new pieces from seven choreographers and directors, the concert will be held at the Lewis Theatre, Nov. 6-8, at 7:30 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, and 3 p.m. on Sunday. Tickets are $15 for adults and $10 for students and AmeriCorps members, and can be purchased online at trilliumperformingarts.org, at the event, or at the office at 115 N. Court Street, in Lewisburg.
Please note, in honor of their service and in the spirit of the Veteran’s Day holiday, all veterans will be admitted free of charge to any of these three performances.
Samara Michaelson, artistic coordinator for this particular concert, has this to say about the content of Transitional Phrases: “Life is always changing and how we embrace the dance of change provides a fascinating range of possibilities for both life and art!”
The concert will contain new dance and theatre work from all five of Trillium’s Core Artists – Michaelson, Michael Buttrill, Chally Erb, Carli Mareneck, and Devin Preston, as well as new dance solos from West Virginia Dance Company’s Donald Laney, and choreographer Bess Park, from South Carolina.
Trillium is the Greenbrier Valley’s primary community-based arts organization, where the performers and creative artists are your local friends and neighbors. Part of its mission is to provide performance opportunities for all, so please contact the Trillium office at 304-645-3003.
