Vivace, a fresh new take in “classical pop,” will wow the audience on Saturday, Oct. 12 at 7:30 p.m. at Nicholas County High school in Summersville. Presented by Ivy & Stone, the group is based primarily out of Vancouver and is the latest addition to the classical crossover/pop genre. Their stirring combination of powerful male voices and emotionally driven female vocals come together to create a sound that is exclusively their own. With a rich and diverse repertoire ranging from pop to their own self-written material, Vivace undoubtedly puts a fresh new take on the classical and modern music of today. “These four voices come together to create a powerful pop opera ensemble that will make you think the angels have arrived,” says Dianne Chow, Living Fabulously and Frugally in Vancouver.
