Join the Greenbrier Artists during Taste of the Town (T.O.O.T.) for an art exhibit featuring a food, drink and cooking theme. The show will be in the Visitors’ Center on Washington Street during the entire month of October. Members of the art group have painted “tasteful” art that they hope you love. Stop in to see a variety of still life paintings, chefs, and many other food items.
Also, Judie Lewis and Marietta Lyall will be displaying their art in the Greenbrier Valley Theatre (GVT) Lobby during October. One section of the exhibit will be food and drink-related, but a variety of other oils, acrylics, watercolors and pastels are also part of the show. All of the art is for sale. Both Lewis and Lyall are juried members of Tamarack.
Lewisburg City Hall, Greenbrier Physicians, and the Greenbrier County Library in Lewisburg have continuing exhibits of the Greenbrier Artists’ work.
Greenbrier Artists is a nonprofit group dedicated to the education and promotion of art. The group is comprised of area artists who work in watercolors, pastels, oils, acrylics, fabric, and mixed media. They meet every week to paint and share ideas.
The public is invited to visit any of these exhibits. Come meet the artists on Friday, Oct. 9, at the Visitors Center; or visit this show anytime through October.
