Greenbrier Christian Retreat
Great things are happening in Crawley on Little Clear Creek. Come be a part of Greenbrier Christian Retreat in its infancy (under construction). Open House Oct. 3, at 2 p.m. Devotional by Pastor Scott Pauley. Prayer of Dedication by Pastor Jonathan Comer. Hot dogs – hamburgers – cold drinks. Shuttle vans available at 1:30 and 2 p.m. from Lewisburg Baptist Church (246 Grand Avenue, Lewisburg) to the retreat. Friends and family are welcome. Annual Pie Supper set in Summers County
The Clayton-Griffith Creek Annual Pie Supper will be held Saturday, Oct. 24 at 6 p.m. at the Clayton Community Building in Clayton. The event will feature a children’s fish pond, pretty girl and ugly man cakes, cake walks, door prizes, auction and grab bags; serving hot dogs, barbecue and pies galore. Fun for all ages. Come for an evening of fun, food and fellowship.
