Vernell “Bimbo” Coles, retired NBA player, member of the United States 1988 Olympic basketball team and owner of Lewisburg-based Country Roads CrossFit, is the new basketball coach for Eastern Greenbrier Middle School. Coles said he is eager to start workouts with his players and teach them the love of the game. “I know basketball,” he said. “It has been my life, all of my life. That is my love. I have studied it.
