Read Aloud West Virginia (RAWV) is a Charleston-based nonprofit organization that seeks to motivate children to want to read. The Greenbrier County Chapter of RAWV will be holding orientation meetings for prospective volunteer readers. The first meeting will be held at the Greenbrier County Library in Lewisburg on Thursday, Sept. 17 at 6 p.m. The second will be held at Rupert Elementary on Friday, Sept. 18 at 9 a.m. Both meetings will be led by Mary Kay Bond, executive director of RAWV.
Anyone interested in reading in an elementary or middle school classroom on a weekly basis should attend one of these highly informative training sessions.
