Bud was employee of The Greenbrier Hotel for 55 years – 43 years at the Golf Course and 12 years at the Gun Club. He greatly enjoyed his employment at The Greenbrier, and felt it was a privilege to work there up until his retirement in the spring of 2015. He gained many lifelong friends during his employment and greatly enjoyed the time he got to spend with them. Bud enjoyed nature, animals, hunting, fishing and the great game of golf.
The funeral service was held on Monday, Aug. 31, at the Emmanuel United Methodist Church where Pastor Dr. Joseph Geiger and Pastor Shari Stilgenbauer officiated. Burial was in Mapledale Cemetery on Rt. 92.
Visitation was Sunday evening, Aug. 30, at the Wallace & Wallace Funeral Home in Lewisburg.
In lieu of flowers, family asks that donations in Bud’s memory be made to the Greenbrier County Humane Society or Emmanuel United Methodist Church.
