The fourth annual Brew Skies Festival will kick-off Friday, Aug. 21 at Timberline Four Seasons resort in Canaan Valley. Presented by Mountain State Brewing Company, the family-friendly festival features a full lineup of local and national musicians and craft beer from select West Virginia breweries.
“Brew Skies is more than just a music festival,” said Jessica Scowcroft, Tucker County Convention & Visitors Bureau director. “It’s a unique celebration of West Virginia’s increasingly expanding craft beer movement, local artisans, and craft foods.”
Festival hours are 5 p.m. to 12 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 21 and 11 a.m. to 12 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 22. Currently there will be nine West Virginia breweries in attendance. The event will welcome newcomer, Stumptown Ales, from Davis. Participating West Virginia Breweries: Big Timber, Blackwater Brewing Company, Chestnut Brew Works, Greenbrier Valley Brewing, Lost River Brewing Company, Morgantown Brewing, Mountain State Brewing Company, and Wheeling Brewing Company.
The festival will also feature scenic chair lift and zip-line rides by Timberline Resort, local food and artisan vendors and KIDS Area. Participating Food Vendors include Hash Browns & New Grounds, White Grass Café, Tip Top Coffee, El Gran Sabor, McVicker’s Kickers Chicken, and Blender Bean Smoothies.
Tickets: Advance tickets are $55 for the weekend or $35 for a day pass for either Friday or Saturday. Tickets are $60 and $40 at the door. Free admission for 14 years and under! The Brew Skies Festival is certified family-friendly.
