“Yes, the Deen brothers are as handsome in person as they are on television, and they are very nice and down to earth. We all enjoyed spending the day with them,” said Lynn Massie of Jim’s Drive-In in Lewisburg.
The premiere episode of “Southern Fried Road Trip” was called “Two Men and a Wild River,” and aired on July 18. Check the Food Network website for future airings or the ability to watch a streaming of the entire episode.
The filming of the episode took place on Apr. 9, and Kathy Massie wooed the Deen boys with her fried green tomatoes, which are showcased on the show, along with Jim’s Drive-In’s milkshakes.
