Around 5,000 tons of rock and debris caused by heavy rain closed WV Rt. 82 in Nicholas County near Craigsville and Muddlety on Monday. Additional storms on Tuesday hindered cleanup efforts and crews were forced to stop work due to safety concerns. The road is scheduled to be cleared by Friday, July 17.
