Esther Mabel Wilson
White Sulphur Springs-Esther Mabel Wilson, 87, passed away Monday, May 25, 2015, at The Brier Nursing Home, Fairlea, after an extended illness.
Born May 19, 1928, in Madison, Wisconsin, she was a daughter of the late Otto and Anna Ibisch.
Esther was a member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in White Sulphur Springs and was a successful potter at The Greenbrier for many years. She was a very strong and motivated person who loved her church and family very much.
Preceding her in death, other than her parents, were: her husband, William Wilson in 2004; and a daughter, Kathleen Wilson in 2002.
Survivors include: two sons, Peter and Robert Wilson; and four daughters, Joan Wilson, Barbara Wilson, Ruth Doherty and Susan Gallagher.
Her memorial service was held on Monday, June 1, at the St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, White Sulphur Springs, where Father Chapin Engler officiated. The family invited everyone to a luncheon in the church hall following the ceremony. Interment is private and will be at the convenience of the family.
