Spend Memorial Day on the Memorial Bridge in Alderson. Monday, May 25, 6-8 p.m. with the talented Goodson Boys. We will remember all the service men and women of Alderson who are no longer with us.
On Sunday, June 7, from 6:30-8 p.m. is a street dance in the parking lot of the Alderson Visitors Center. The band Vital Shock from Ronceverte will play for Middle and High School students but everyone of any age is welcome. Start the summer break off with music, fun and friends.
Sunday June 21, 6:30-8 p.m. come celebrate West Virginia’s Birthday, Father’s Day and the start of summer with the incredible music of Allan Sizemore at the Alumni Park Gazebo. There will be free birthday cake in six different flavors to choose from.
Astronomer and musician Dave Burhman will perform Sunday, July 19, 6:30-8 p.m. at Alumni Park. After the music, Dave will have telescopes available to view the night sky and talk about our solar system and beyond.
Finally, on Sunday, Aug. 9, 6:30-8 p.m. on the Alderson Memorial Bridge will be the return of jazz by the Robinson-Kenga Trio. Their performance last year was truly magical.
