It’s time for spring cleanup. If you have seen lots of litter in your neighborhood, perhaps on a stream bank or along a road, and there is not an adopt-a-highway program for your road – or maybe there is a couch, a refrigerator or some tires you have seen in some out-of-the-way place. Now may be the time to take action. The Greenbrier River Watershed Association, working with the Department of Environmental Protection Make it Shine in cooperation with the Division of Highways, is sponsoring a clean up in the watershed Apr. 18. Just call 304-647-4792 to let us know where you want to clean and we will get you bags, gloves, etc. and arrange for pick up.
