AHMH’s Upcoming schedule

Tuesday Jam Sessions at the American Heritage Music Hall (AHMH) at Island Park, 315 Monroe Avenue, Ronceverte, have been moved to every Friday night – Mar. 13, 20, 27 and Apr. 3, 10, 17, 24 – from 7 to 10/10:30 p.m. Doors open at 6, music starts at 7 p.m. Admission: Tuesdays $7 each; dance night $10 each. The dance in March will be held Mar. 28 featuring Bill Evans & The Night Riders. April’s dance will be held Apr. 25 and will feature High Country. Admission includes food, coffee and soft drinks brought in by the audience and donated to the music hall to share with everyone. (Bring your favorite snack to share.) (Note: AHMH DOES NOT PROVIDE ANY FOOD OR DRINKS). A family type atmosphere with no alcohol and no smoking, the Music Hall is handicap accessible, and a nonprofit organization, 501(c)3, located at Island Park, Ronceverte. Wellspring of Greenbrier, Inc.

presents the Annual Spring/Summer Wear Event for low income families. Week 1: Infants & Children up to size 10-12, Mar. 17-18-19; Week 2: Women & Teen Girls – S/M/LG/XL, Mar. 24-25-26; Week 3: Men & Teen Boys – S/M/LG/XLG, Mar. 31, Apr. 1-2. Hours are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. each week at Wellspring of Greenbrier, Inc., located on Rt. 60 in Rupert next to City Hall.

Greenbrier County Health Department

will not administer any TB Testing on Wednesday, Mar. 18. They will resume testing on Wednesday, Mar. 25.

NAMI meeting

“Loving Someone with PTSD” (Post Tramatic Stress Disorder) will be discussed at NAMI’s March meeting on Thursday, Mar. 19, at 6 p.m. at St. James Episcopal Church on Court Street in Lewisburg. NAMI’s support group meetings are open to the public and are always free. Please come and bring a friend. Meetings are always held on the 3rd Thursday at 6 p.m. at St .James Episcopal Church. Williamsburg Community Flea Market

On Saturday, Mar. 28, there will be a Spring Flea Market at the Williamsburg Community Building from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. If you wish to set up, one table cost is $10, two tables for $15. Please call 304-645-3719 or 304-645-3690 to reserve a space. You may set up Friday, Mar. 27, from 6 to 8 p.m. and/or Saturday, Mar. 28, from 7:45 to 9:45 a.m. Questions, call 304-645-3719.

Narconon

would like to remind families that the use of addicting drugs is on the rise, take steps to protect your family from drug use. AA meetings

are held at St. James Episcopal Church, 218 S. Court, Lewisburg at 7 p.m. on Monday, Wednesday and Friday, and Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday at 12 noon.

NarAnon meetings

are held Wednesday evenings at 7 p.m. at St. James Episcopal Church, 218 South Court Street, Lewisburg. NarAnon is a 12-step support group for persons effected by someone else’s addiction. Contact Susan at 304-646-6506 for questions.

Weekly Al-Anon meeting

is held every Thursday, 7-8 p.m. at Lewisburg united Methodist Church. Enter at back door (Lee Street entrance). Al-Anon is a 12-step organization for family and friends of people with alcohol problems. For information call Sue at 304-646-6506 or Dee at 304-667-1766.

The Bluefield Princeton area

Multiple Sclerosis (MS) Support Group

meets once a month, usually around the last Tuesday. The group is open to all who have MS and also family and friends. Medical students and such are welcome. There is no charge or fees to join. We’re into our 28th year as a group. Please come, you’ll find us a caring and encouraging group. For more information call Doug Mullins, group leader, at 304-753-9126.
