Frankford will welcome the arrival of autumn on Saturday, Sept. 26, with the 40th annual Frankford Autumnfest, a longtime community tradition celebrating the season with family-friendly activities, local crafts, food and fellowship.
The festival will be held at the Greenbrier County Youth Camp, 325 Youth Camp Road in Frankford. The event will feature arts and crafts and a variety of activities for visitors of all ages.
The day’s festivities will also include the 5th Annual Frankford Autumnfest Car Show, beginning at noon. Participants can register in advance or on the day of the event.
For those looking to get an early start, the Frankford Autumnfest 5K Race and Fun Run will begin at 7 a.m. at the Youth Camp. The event encourages families and friends to run or walk together while enjoying the beauty of the Appalachian fall season.
Now in its 40th year, the Autumnfest continues to highlight the community spirit that makes Frankford special. Residents and visitors are invited to come out, enjoy the festivities and celebrate the beginning of another beautiful West Virginia fall.
