Learning how to save and spend money wisely is an attribute of successful entrepreneurs and addressed in the youth entrepreneur program offered at Eastern Greenbrier Middle School by VisAbility – Mindset of Success Educational Program in partnership with Communities in the Schools. The eight week program empowers students through vision setting, goal-setting, problem-solving and idea development utilizing creative thinking skills. Throughout the program, students’ potential to create their future through the power of the entrepreneurial mindset is validated. The program culminates with the creation of a product or service to solve a problem or to meet a need. The program is being offered to sixth and eighth graders at Eastern Greenbrier Middle School and facilitated by Katie Ickes of VisAbility and Drew Nicholas of Communities in the Schools.
