UMB Bank has partnered with the Appalachian Trail Conservancy (ATC) to offer an Affinity credit card, which will benefit the ATC financially in its mission to protect and maintain the Appalachian Trail (A.T.). Every time this card is used, a portion of the proceeds is allocated to the ATC in support of its many programs.
For each new account activated, the ATC will receive $50, and for each purchase made with the card, a percentage of sales will be allocated to the ATC. Funds received will benefit trail management and support, conservation work, community and youth engagement and educational initiatives.
“We are excited to offer this card to Appalachian Trail enthusiasts as a way to make a difference with your everyday purchases,” said Javier Folgar, director of Marketing and Communications for the ATC. “Now with every transaction you make, you can show your support of this famous long-distance hiking trail.”
Cardholders may personalize their credit card by choosing between a variety of iconic images of the A.T.
