Carnegie Hall is pleased to announce the 2026 Ivy Terrace Outdoor Music Series, returning July 9 through Aug. 27 from 6:30 to 8 p.m. and continuing a beloved Lewisburg summer tradition that brings the community together for free live music on the picturesque Carnegie Hall/New River Community and Technical College lawn.

Ivy Terrace concerts are a major part of why Lewisburg is celebrated as one of the “coolest small towns in America,” offering relaxed, family‑friendly evenings where attendees can bring a lawn chair or blanket, pack a picnic, and enjoy performances by musical groups set up on the Ivy Terrace. Due to the Ivy Terrace Restoration Project, the August concerts will take place at different locations.

2026 IVY TERRACE SERIES LINEUP

Strings of Green stands as one of bluegrass music’s most exciting young acts, proving that authentic family harmony – both musical and personal – creates something truly special.

Thursday, July 23 – Deni Bonet and Chris Flynn

Location: Carnegie Hall Ivy Terrace

Internationally acclaimed violinist, singer, and songwriter Deni Bonet and guitarist Chris Flynn bring their high‑energy pop‑rock flair to the stage. Known for electric performances and collaborations with artists ranging from Cyndi Lauper to R.E.M., the duo delivers a vibrant, genre‑bending show.

Thursday, July 30 – St. Marks Steel Drums

St. Marks Steel Drums brings the bright, joyful rhythms of the Caribbean to Lewisburg. Their steel pan ensemble creates an irresistible island atmosphere filled with upbeat grooves and feel‑good melodies.

Thursday, Aug. 13 – Mindy Murray and the Lobelians

Location: WVSOM Student Center Outdoor Amphitheater

Singer‑songwriter Mindy Murray leads this eclectic Americana group. Known for heartfelt storytelling, rich vocal blends, and a mix of folk, bluegrass, and roots influences, Mindy’s warm, intimate sound resonates beautifully in a summer setting. She will be joined by Bob and Ginger Must, Paolo and Erica Marks, Zach Yocum, and more.

Thursday, Aug. 27 – The Bing Brothers

Location: To be announced.

A West Virginia treasure, The Bing Brothers deliver driving old‑time music steeped in Appalachian tradition. With lightning‑fast fiddle tunes, banjo breakdowns, and infectious energy, they bring the spirit of mountain music to life.

All Ivy Terrace concerts are free, alcohol‑free, and generously sponsored by City National Bank. In case of inclement weather, concerts will move indoors, and attendees are encouraged to follow Carnegie Hall’s Facebook page for updates.
