Created by Bob Cilman, the film earned widespread praise for its humor, heart, and unforgettable musical moments, including standout performances by chorus members such as Fred Knittle. The documentary premiered at the Los Angeles Film Festival, where it won the Audience Award for Best International Feature, and went on to receive a 90% approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes.

Following the screening, audiences are invited to stay for a talkback with Bob Cilman, joined by Barbara Nissman, host of Carnegie Hall’s Classics Series, is an internationally renowned concert pianist hailed as “one of the last pianists in the grand Romantic tradition.” Known for her definitive recordings of Prokofiev, Bartók, and Ginastera, she has performed with major orchestras worldwide, including the New York Philharmonic, Chicago Symphony, and London Philharmonic.

This collaboration between Carnegie Hall and the West Virginia Music Hall of Fame celebrates the power of music to connect generations, uplift communities, and inspire creativity.
