The National Archery in the Schools Program continues to open doors for young athletes across the country, and this year, the Ronceverte Elementary, Frankford Elementary, and Eastern Greenbrier Middle School archery teams will be stepping onto one of their biggest stages yet.
From May 7-9, 2026, these talented students will compete in the NASP National Championship, an event that brings together top-performing school archers from across the United States. There will be over 15,000 archers competing in the three divisions of elementary, middle, and high school.
They have earned their place in the tournament through dedication, steady practice, and impressive performance throughout the season. For many of these young archers, the journey to nationals represents more than just competition—it is a chance to showcase their focus, discipline and growth.
Archery offers a unique opportunity for students of all abilities to succeed, and the Ronceverte team embodies that spirit. Their achievement reflects not only individual effort but also strong teamwork and community support.
As they travel to the national stage, these teams carry with them the pride of the school and community, aiming high and proving that even the youngest competitors can hit the mark.
