Ronceverte City Council met on Monday, May 4, at 7 p.m. in a brief session.
During this meeting, council reviewed and approved minutes from the April 13th regular meeting and the April 21 special meeting.
Following the approval of minutes, council reviewed old business. During this review, the council conducted a second reading of Ordinance 2026-02, Adoption of the 2021 National Fire Protection Association Safety Code. Council unanimously voted in favor for the adoption of this code.
Council then tabled Ordinance 2026-03 Police Use of Force Policy, as the new policy is still being written. It was tabled in the previous meeting as well. This topic will be discussed again in the next council meeting.
There was no new business on the agenda.
The next council meeting will be held on June 1 at 7 p.m.
