Kenneth Earl Elmore, 62, passed away on Wednesday, Apr. 15, 2026, at the Seneca Trail Healthcare Center in Lewisburg, WV. Born Jan. 22, 1964, in Union, WV, he was the son of the late Earl Walter and Norma Virginia White Elmore. Kenny graduated from Union High School. He worked at the sawmill but spent most of his life working as a farmer. He loved hunting and fishing. Additionally, he enjoyed hunting for ginseng and Goldenseal. He was a beloved brother, uncle, and friend who will be missed by all who knew him.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Debbie O’Brien; brother-in-law, Denny Loudermilk; paternal grandparents, Ruth and Walter Elmore; and maternal grandparents, Mason and Mamie White.
Survivors include his siblings, Cathy Boone and husband Mike of Ronceverte, WV, Jackie Loudermilk of Crawley, WV, and Roscoe Elmore of Sinks Grove, WV; and many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great-nephews, extended family, and friends.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff at Seneca Trail Healthcare Center for the excellent care they provided during Kenny’s stay there.
In keeping with his wishes, Kenny will be cremated. A celebration of Kenny’s life will be held by the family at a later date.
