Easter In The Park in Renick
On Mar. 28, at the Renick Park. Egg Hunt starts at 11 a.m. The Easter Bunny and Pals will be there! Hundreds of filled eggs, prizes for all children, photo ops, hot dogs, drinks and chips for everyone. Children age infant to 12 years old are welcome to join the fun! Sponsored by the Renick Community Center, the Renick Ruritans and the Town of Renick. Everyone is welcome to attend.

Pruning Workshop March 28
On Saturday, Mar. 28, the Greenbrier Valley Master Gardener Association will host a pruning class at the Demonstration Garden at the State Fair of West Virginia from 1 to 4 p.m. where you will receive hands on experience on how to prune. The garden is in front of the WVU Building on the fairgrounds. Dr. Mira Danilovich will be showing you how to best prune your trees and shrubs. She is the state coordinator for the West Virginia Master Gardeners, and a consumer horticulture specialist and associate professor with WVU Extension. This program is free and open to the public.

Mountaineer Horseshoe League Recruiting members for 2026
The Mountaineer Horseshoe League in Ronceverte is recruiting adult male and female pitchers, youth boys and girls for Cadet Division (under 13 years old), and young men and women for a Junior Division (13-18 years old). Pitching will begin on May 12 at 6 p.m. at the horseshoe courts on Island Park. The last day to sign up is May 5. For more information contact Allen Withrow at 304-667-1374 or puwithrow@gmail.com. The league would welcome all new members, and any past members that like to rejoin us.
