Carmon Lee Rich, 66, of Ronceverte passed away on Mar. 5, 2026 at CAMC General Hospital following an extended recovery from an accident in January.
She was born Mar. 2, 1960 in Hinton, the daughter of the late Edward and Rosemary Lane Hamons.
Carmon was a stay at home mom.
Other than her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Terry W. Rich and brother-in-law Mike Cornell.
Carmon is survived by her daughter Stephanie Scott (Franklin) of Ronceverte; sons, Troy Rich (Amanda) of Florida, Carl Rich of Charmco, WV and Justin Rich (Latosha) of Quinwood, WV; grandchildren, Brendon Dustin Scott, Devin A. Scott, Dawson River Scott, Christian Koeppl, Alax Rich, Ella Rich and Renesmae Rich; sisters Sue Cornell of White Sulphur Springs, WV. and Penny Hugheart of North Carolina; brothers Roger Lee Hamons (Lisa) of Hines, WV, Edward George Hamons of Charmco, WV and Billy Hamons (Chasidy) of Charleston, WV, and several nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, Mar. 12, from 6 until 8 p.m. at Wallace & Wallace Funeral Home in Lewisburg.
Funeral services for Carmon will be Friday, Mar. 13, at 12 noon at Wallace & Wallace Funeral Home in Lewisburg with Pastor Tom Tramel officiating. Interment will follow at Wallace Memorial Cemetery in Clintonville.
Those serving as pallbearers will be Franklin Scott, Roger Hamons, Billy Hamons, Billy Ryan Hamons, Nicholas Hamons and Troy Rich.
