Rainelle Town Council
meetings are held every second and fourth Monday of each month at 7 p.m. at Rainelle City Hall. The public is invited to attend.

Greenbrier County Farmland Protection Board
meets on the 4th Thursday of each month at 10:30 a.m. at the Greenbrier County Courthouse, 912 Court Street North, Lewisburg, WV 24901 in the County Commission Meeting Room. The public is invited to attend. Call 304-520-3221 for more information.

Historic Landmarks Commission
will meet Monday, Feb. 9, at 5 p.m. in Paul R. Cooley Council Chambers, 948 Washington Street West, to hear the following applications.
• Byron Rausenberger, 1382 Washington Street East – build a pool house
• Carnegie Hall, 611 Church Street – Ivy Terrace renovation
• Pergo Properties LLC., 1031 Washington Street East – install a 14”x14” sign
• Lewisburg Foundation, Court and Foster Parking Lot – construction and landscaping
• Jefferson Office Park, 765 Jefferson Street South – repair and paint back of building, Winchester Gray
• Lucie Refsland, 650 Court Street – replace doors on Suite D, replace awning cover on Suite D, and add a new sign over awning
• John Wesley Church, 350 Foster Street – replace mortar where needed
• Kahsyne, 775 Court Street – modifications to exterior building

The next scheduled Historic Landmarks Commission Meeting will be held Monday, Mar. 9, at 5 p.m. with a deadline of Wednesday, Feb. 18, at 10 a.m.

Historic Landmarks Commission
will meet Tuesday, Feb. 10, 2026, at 7 p.m. in the Paul R. Cooley Council Chamber. The following topics are scheduled for discussion:
• Arts & Humanities Funding – Greenbrier Valley Home & Garden Tour
• Video Lottery Funding – Greenbrier East High School Project Graduation 2026
• Resolution 593 Water System Improvement Pay Request 46
• S. Lafayette St. Stormwater Improvements Project:

  • Approval of Change Order No. 5 – $3,105.00

  • Approval of Final Adjusting Change Order No. 6 – ($19,701) A decrease in contract amount.

  • Pay Request No. 5 (Final) from Lynch Construction in amount of $35,91 1.56, which is final payment.

  • Chapman Technical Group Invoice 0021769
    • Pay Increase & Reclassification – John L. White
    • Merit Pay Approval
    • Corporation of Falling Springs a.k.a. Town of Renick Water System
    • GovWell Software Purchase for Planning, Zoning and Permits
