The Old White Garden Club and Greenbrier State Forest are sponsoring the 50th annual Show Me Hike this Saturday, Apr. 26.
At 8 a.m. meet at picnic shelter #1 for the Bird Walk.
At 10 a.m. gather at picnic shelter #1, approximately 1-1/2 miles from the main office of the State Forest. Pick up a spring flower list and select your activity for the day. There are short and long walks and tours through the State Forest, over Kate’s Mountain or along the River Trail.
Everything is geared for fun, the love of nature and a opportunity to see and identify spring flowering plants. Everything will appeal to for all ages and not considered difficult.
Dress for a day of nature, bring a picnic lunch.
