Life in the Greenbrier Valley is about to get a little sweeter. The 13th annual Lewisburg Chocolate Festival returns Saturday, Apr. 13 to downtown Lewisburg.
Plans are underway to make this year’s festival better than ever; chocolate lovers everywhere should save the date. This weekend event includes an exciting schedule of chocolate-themed activities including more than 35,000 chocolate-inspired tastings, a chocolate mousse eating contest, professional chef demonstrations, live music, children’s activities, and dinner specials at local restaurants.
Tasting tickets for Saturday’s 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. tasting experience tend to sell out, so festival-goers are encouraged to purchase them in advance. Tasting tickets are being sold online at LewisburgChocolateFestival.com for $5 per packet of five tickets. Tickets purchased online will be available the day of the festival at will-call inside Lewisburg City Hall. Tasting tickets are also available in person at the Greenbrier Valley Visitors Center in downtown Lewisburg. As the event nears, more information about specific chocolate offerings will be available, but they are certain to exceed the expectations of the most discerning chocolate aficionado.
The Lewisburg Chocolate Festival is a nonprofit charitable organization. Vendors can feel good about supporting the community while promoting their business or organization.
