Local family competes in Tri-Du-thalon for pancreatic cancer

SAMSUNGThis family trio of Andrew and Brittany Rose and 10 year old son, Gabriel, competed in the first Tri-Du-athalon for pancreatic cancer held at Sherwood Lake in Greenbrier County. Andrew is a long-time competitor, beginning as a cross-country athlete for Greenbrier East High School. He currently focuses on completing marathons and Ironman competitions worldwide. Andrew did the startup for Elephant Auto Insurance in Richmond, VA, and now is operating the web-based Comparenow.com auto insurance. Brittany is the mother of three, and has diverse interests and involvements in the Glen Allen area.  Gabriel, a 4th grader at Rivers Edge Elementary, completed this event in 2:41:49. He has competed in other races, but this is his first triathalon.
