New River Unitarian Universalist Fellowship

Pence Springs Community Church
will present their annual christmas play entitled “One Silent Night in Bethlehem” Sunday, Dec. 15 at 7 p.m. Pastor Roger Persinger and the congregation invite everyone to attend this service.

Band of Hope Baptist Church
will hold their annual Christmas program on Sunday, Dec. 15 at 6 p.m. Pastor Reginald Berry and the congregation invite all to attend. The church is located near Friar’s Hill.
Christ Our Savior of the Valley Lutheran Church
will hold a Happy Birthday Jesus Party on Sunday, Dec. 15 with activities for the whole family. Come for Brunch/Lunch at 12:30 to include a special Birthday Cake, followed by singing of all the favorite Christmas songs, special games and crafts for kids and a family craft. The afternoon will conclude with a special Advent Family Vesper service at 3:30 p.m. There will be NO charge! The church is located in the 810 Office Park on US 219 one mile north of I-64. Ronceverte Baptist Church
Choir will present their annual Christmas concert on the evenings of Sunday and Monday, Dec. 15 and 16 at 7 p.m. This year’s musical entitled On This Very Night includes the joyous “African Noel” and the beautiful classic “The Little Drummer Boy” and other Christmas favorites. Under the direction of Sally Parker, the choir members include: Ben Anderson, Connie Anderson, Sue Anderson, Sarah Baker; Sheila Ballard Calianna Blevins, Janice Deem, Don Holiday, Brenda Holliday, Kristen Holliday, Richard Halliday, Richie Holliday, Andy Howdock, Sherry McCormick-Hawkins, Michelle Jones, Marie Martin, Tom Moretz, Dreama West, Karen West and Angel Williams. The musical will be narrated by’.. Steve and Jeanne Bostic. There will also be a Candlelight ServicE on Christmas Eve at 6 p.m. Pastor Andy Howdock and the congregation invite everyone to celebrate Our Savior’s Birth by joining with us at the concert, the Candlelight Service and other regularly scheduled worship services. Old Greenbrier Baptist Church
invites you to our 2013 Christmas pageant, “The Christmas Child,” which will be presented on Wednesday, Dec. 18 at 6 p.m. in the church sanctuary. Delightful refreshments and fellowship time will follow the performance. Everyone is welcome, and we pray that you will come and share anew the powerful experience of Christmas. Christmas Cantata “Hope Has Hands”
will be presented Dec. 20 at 7 p.m.; Dec. 22 at 11 a.m. and Dec. 24 at 7:30 p.m. at Trinity United Methodist Church, 707 Pocahontas Avenue, Ronceverte. Also, Dec. 24 at 6 p.m. at Elizabeth Chapel United Methodist Church, Hoke’s Mill Road, Organ Cave.

Emmanuel Open Bible Church
invites the public to come and view this years’ Live Drive Thru Nativity. There will be eight Christmas scenes telling the story of our Savior’s birth. There will be other scenes bringing the city of Bethlehem to life. As you drive thru in the comfort and warmth of your vehicle you will experience the excitement during the time of Jesus’ birth. You also have the option of parking your vehicle and walking thru to take pictures. There will be live animals that the children will be able to pet. There is no charge, just as Jesus was a free gift given to the world this presentation is free to the public. Join us on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, Dec. 20, 21 and 22 from 6 to 8 p.m. nightly. Greenbrier Valley Aglow Community Lighthouse
