Oak Grove Methodist Church

will sponsor a Yard Sale Aug. 24, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the parking lot between the John Henry Station and the Post Office at Talcott.

Bethel Pentecostal Holiness Church

The annual homecoming service will be observed at Bethel Pentecostal Holiness Church, Hokes Mill Road, Organ Cave, Sunday, Aug. 25 at 11 a.m. with Sunday school at 10 a.m. The guest speaker for the service will be Rev. Wesley Galford, pastor of Peterstown Pentecostal Holiness Church. There will be a covered-dish meal in the fellowship hall following the service, with special singing following the meal. Rev. Wesley Comer and the congregation extend an invitation to everyone. There will be no night service.

Orient Hill Freewill Baptist Church

will hold a Gospel Sing Saturday, Aug. 24 from 6 to 9 p.m. at Meadow River Roadside Park, Charmco, featuring the New Direction Quartet, Sweet Anointing, Gary Hosey & Family and the Orient Hill Freewill Baptist Church Singers: Robert Atkinson, Ronnie Dorsey, Keith Hollinghead, The Murdocks & Darlene Wallace, Doug & Carolyn Tilley, Travis Walker and Skip & Sissy Zickafoose. Spring Creek Presbyterian Church

will hold their annual Spring Creek Presbyterian Church homecoming in Renick on Sunday, Aug. 25. Church services will begin at 10 a.m. with Pastor Robert Lynn Randolph speaking. Special music will be presented by David and Crystal Hersman and Lucy Ramey. Spring Creek invites everyone to attend and then stay for a covered dish luncheon at 12 noon.

Greenbrier Valley Aglow Community Lighthouse

holds monthly meetings the third Monday of each month at 7 p.m. at the Fairfield Inn in Lewisburg.
