Celebrate First Fridays after 5 in downtown Lewisburg April 4

Historic Downtown Lewisburg celebrates First Fridays after Five on Friday, Apr. 4! Join the fun in downtown Lewisburg – live music, art events and tasty treats – all free to the public. Everyone is welcome!

Cooper Gallery features Ron Williams’ large original landscapes of the Southern Mountain Range, including Virginia, Tennessee and North Carolina. Breathtaking museum quality paintings! Opening reception without the artist in residence 5 to 8 p.m. Join us! (122 East Washington Street, 645-6439)

Stop by the Greenbrier Valley Visitors Center to meet April’s “Art in the Valley” featured artist, Sandra Schmocker. Sandra’s original show will include acrylics, watercolors and mixed media in styles ranging from realistic to surreal. Enjoy the live music of singer/songwriter Corey Lee McQuade. A local favorite, his solo performances include finger picking/flat picking guitar and clawhammer/bluegrass banjo.
